Our passion is transforming walls, ceilings, floors, and furniture, and many more surfaces into a work of art. We invest an incredible amount of time to ensure each client is offered a wide range of decorative options.

Our goal is to design for our commercial and residential clients keeping in mind their specific needs and desires. An extensive sample making process takes place with each client based upon discussions and meetings. We take pride in achieving exquisite and unique results by using a professional line on non-toxic water based products, provided by The Finishing School. We have lasting relationships with our clients and go out of our way to meet their expectations. Of The Essence Designs has the capability to tackle large projects and can organize in order to meet deadlines and scheduling needs.

Of The Essence Designs now has two locations! After having been in business for 5 years in NJ, Of The Essence Designs has opened a division of the company in Wilmington, North Carolina. They are proud to be celebrating their fifth year in Wilmington. The owners, Tara Dougan Price and Douglas Price have worked hard to create systems in order to continue creating quality craftsmanship in two states. The clients in southern North Carolina can expect to receive the standard of excellence as the clients in NJ have come to know and trust.
